Revolut Card Review: Cashback, Fees, & Perks
Revolut lets personal users link an eligible Revolut card to a crypto Pocket or create a dedicated virtual crypto card. When the card is used, Revolut converts the selected crypto into the merchant’s purchase currency.
Crypto-funded card payments do not earn cashback. Revolut’s wider rewards system, RevPoints, applies to eligible everyday card spending, with earning rates determined by the user’s plan.
Standard is the most practical option for occasional use. The paid plans mainly add higher exchange and ATM allowances, faster card delivery, travel benefits, and improved RevPoints earning rates.

Rewards and Tiers
Revolut does not award cashback on crypto-funded card payments.
Eligible everyday card spending can instead earn RevPoints. The earning rate starts at one point per 50 PLN on Standard and Plus and improves to one point per 5 PLN on Ultra. RevPoints can be converted into airline miles or used for discounts on eligible Revolut Stays bookings.
The paid plans also include broader benefits such as increased exchange and ATM allowances, subscriptions, insurance, and airport lounge benefits. The exact package depends on the selected tier.
Card Fees
The first physical card is free across all five plans, although delivery charges apply to Standard. Plus includes standard delivery, while Premium, Metal, and Ultra include express delivery.

Standard and Plus users also pay fair-usage fees after exceeding their monthly exchange allowances. Weekend exchange fees apply regardless of how much of the allowance remains.
Paymentscan Testing
On 18 July 2026, Paymentscan used ETH for a 6.80 PLN in-store purchase on the Standard plan. Revolut deducted 0.00098336 ETH, producing an implied rate of 6,915.12 PLN per ETH compared with Google’s displayed reference rate of 6,997.97 PLN.
This represented an observed rate difference of approximately 1.18%. The transaction took place on a Saturday, when the Standard plan’s 1% weekend exchange fee applied.
Funding Your Revolut Card
Users can add fiat through bank transfers, eligible debit or credit cards, Apple Pay, BLIK, and other supported local methods.
Crypto can be purchased in the Revolut app or deposited from an external wallet using a supported asset and network. An eligible Revolut card can then be linked to one crypto Pocket or configured to spend from multiple crypto balances.
Additional Features
Users can link most personal Revolut cards to a crypto Pocket, excluding Revolut Pro and Revolut Business cards. Alternatively, they can create a dedicated virtual crypto card.
When spending from multiple crypto balances, Revolut first uses the asset with the highest balance before moving to the next one. If the card is linked to one specific asset and that balance is insufficient, the payment is declined.
Refunds for crypto-funded purchases are credited in the fiat currency of the original transaction rather than in cryptocurrency.
Revolut cards can also be added to Apple Pay and Google Pay.
Availability and User Experience
During Paymentscan’s iPhone test, account onboarding and identity verification took approximately 10 minutes. The virtual card was available shortly afterwards and could be added to Apple Pay.
Who Is This Card For?
Revolut is best suited to existing Revolut users who want to spend crypto without transferring funds to a separate card platform.
Standard offers the lowest-cost entry point for occasional crypto spending. Premium, Metal, and Ultra are more appropriate for users who can make use of the higher exchange and ATM limits, travel benefits, and faster RevPoints earning rates.
Users primarily seeking crypto cashback will find stronger rewards elsewhere, since Revolut does not award cashback on crypto-funded payments.
