OKX Card Review: Cashback, Fees, & Perks

The OKX Card is a stablecoin-funded payment card linked to OKX Pay. In the EEA it runs on Mastercard, automatically converts supported stablecoins when a payment settles, and is available first as a virtual card, with physical cards rolling out by region.

Eligible USDG purchases earn 2% cashback for non-VIP users and up to 10% for VIP 4+. Cashback is paid in USDG after settlement, and USDC-funded purchases do not qualify. Monthly eligible-spend and cashback caps apply.

OKX charges no issuance, monthly, annual, inactivity, transaction, or added FX fee for the EEA virtual card. A 0.1% market spread applies when USDC or USDG is converted to euros, and Mastercard's exchange rate applies to non-euro purchases.

The OKX Card is strongest for existing OKX users who can fund OKX Pay with USDG and benefit from the reward tiers. Users who prefer bank-account funding, cash withdrawals without region-specific checks, or rewards on USDC should compare alternatives.

Cashback and Rewards

OKX's ongoing EEA cashback programme applies only to eligible card purchases funded with USDG. Rewards are calculated in local currency, converted to USDG, and credited to OKX Pay within 72 hours after settlement. USDC can be spent but does not earn cashback.

Cashback uses calendar-month caps. Excluded categories include cash withdrawals, transfers, account funding, gambling, tax payments, and several other financial, government, and professional services. Refunds trigger a cashback reversal.

Card Fees

The EEA virtual card has a simple fee schedule. The main unavoidable cost is the 0.1% stablecoin-to-euro market spread; non-euro purchases also use Mastercard's exchange rate even though OKX adds no separate FX fee.

Funding Your OKX Card

The EEA card spends USDC or USDG held in OKX Pay. Users can deposit supported crypto onchain or fund OKX through available fiat methods, then move the supported stablecoin balance into Pay.

At checkout, the stablecoin is converted automatically for card settlement. Users who want cashback must make the eligible purchase with USDG rather than USDC.

Additional Features

Physical Card Roll-Out

Eligible virtual-card users may now see an option to order one physical card. Availability is regional, and the app shows printing and delivery charges. Standard mail is estimated at 8–18 days, while DHL Express is estimated within 5 days globally.

Adjustable Spending Limits

The app lets users set per-transaction and daily limits. Both controls are off by default, take effect immediately when enabled, and are bounded by a regional maximum shown in the app.

Availability and User Experience

OKX's August 2026 EEA guide lists the card across EU markets and Norway, excluding Iceland and Liechtenstein. The app remains the source of truth: if the Card section does not appear, the product is not currently available to that account or region.

Applicants must complete identity verification and set up OKX Pay. The virtual card can be added to Apple Pay or Google Pay. Physical-card orders, ATM withdrawals, and related fees remain region-dependent.

Who Is This Card For?

The card fits existing OKX users who hold USDG, want mobile-wallet spending, and can benefit from the ongoing cashback programme. Non-VIP users receive a meaningful 2% rate without a card fee, while higher OKX VIP tiers unlock larger rates and caps.

It is less suitable for users who prefer USDC-only rewards, do not want to route spending through OKX Pay, or need guaranteed physical-card and ATM access in every supported market.

How to Sign Up for OKX

  1. Create an OKX account in the app.
  2. Complete identity verification and set up OKX Pay.
  3. Deposit crypto or use an available fiat funding method, then hold USDC or USDG in Pay.
  4. Open Pay, select Card, and request the virtual card if the option is available.
  5. Add the card to Apple Pay or Google Pay, and use USDG for purchases intended to earn cashback.
