Kosh Card Review: Cashback, Fees, & Perks

Kosh combines a stablecoin wallet, named payment accounts, and a collateralised Visa card. The personal card is available in virtual and physical form, with the card balance funded from USDC, USDT, or supported fiat-account rails.

The clearest everyday reward is KOSH Points: individual cardholders earn at least 1 point per $1 of eligible spend, and 100 points have a stated value of $1. Earning is live, but Kosh says redemption is still coming, so the points should not be treated as spendable cashback yet.

Kosh is a practical fit for freelancers and internationally paid users who want a card, stablecoins, and payment-account rails in one app. It is less compelling for users who need completely settled reward redemption and an unambiguous published FX rate.

Cashback and Rewards

Kosh separates points from cashback. The base earn rate is 1 point per $1 of eligible spend and the point value at $0.01.

Points earning is live for individual accounts, but redemption is not yet available. Campaign cashback is credited as KOSH Rewards and can be claimed to the card, but it cannot be withdrawn or transferred.

Card Fees

Kosh's core costs are modest for USD spending, but international use needs care because its product page, personal-card fee schedule, and consumer card terms publish different FX charges. The table below presents the full published range and flags the conflict rather than treating any single figure as universal.

Funding Your Kosh Card

Crypto Funding

Users can deposit USDC or USDT to the Kosh wallet and move the balance to the card. The $10 stablecoin balance required before most individual users can start identity verification remains withdrawable and is not a sign-up fee.

Fiat and Bank Funding

Kosh offers named payment accounts, with USD ACH and wire funding the clearest published route. Access to EUR, GBP, AED, and SWIFT accounts varies by jurisdiction.

Additional Features

Named Payment Accounts

Eligible users can receive client or platform payments into account details in their own name. This makes Kosh more useful to freelancers and remote workers than a card-only product, particularly when income already arrives by ACH or wire.

Availability and User Experience

The Kosh card can be used at Visa merchants in more than 180 countries, but merchant acceptance is not the same as card-issuance availability.

Individuals sign up through the mobile app. Most users must first hold at least $10 in USDC or USDT before starting identity verification; users in the UAE and Maldives are exempt.

Who Is This Card For?

Kosh suits users who receive international income and want to keep stablecoin funding, named payment accounts, and card spending in one workflow. The $8 virtual-card price is accessible, and USD spending is straightforward.

Users focused mainly on mature, immediately redeemable rewards, or on predictable non-USD costs, may prefer a card with a settled cashback programme and one unambiguous FX schedule.
